SEX AND HEALTH: SOME THINGS THAT CAN GO WRONG FOR MEN-PROSTATE PROBLEMS
Posted on March 30, 2009, under Men's Health-Erectile Dysfunction.
There are several conditions that can affect the prostate gland. It can become inflamed or cancerous but the commonest condition is a non-cancerous enlargement. This is very common in elderly men and produces a feeling of discomfort in the pubic area. Over some time it becomes difficult to empty the bladder fully, involving the man in frequent trips to urinate. This can be especially troublesome at night.
Eventually the bladder mouth can become shut totally off with a complete inability to pass water. This requires urgent medical attention.
Modern research suggests that nutritional imbalances are at the heart of at least some prostate problems. It is worth trying Vitamin E, magnesium and zinc supplements, and reducing your intake of coffee and sugar.
